Care You Need, in the Language You Speak
When you attend a health care appointment covered by CHPW Medicare Advantage, you also get access to language services.
Your provider may speak your language or arrange for an interpreter to be at your appointment. When you schedule your appointment, let your doctor’s office know that you need an interpreter.
We offer language access services free of charge to members who speak languages other than English. We will find a way to talk to you in your own language and help you find a provider who speaks your language.
Additional Language Assistance Support
- We translate our plan materials into the languages of the members we serve.
- We offer our plan materials in large print and braille.
- We offer access for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Dial TTY: 711 to connect with the Washington relay system. Once you are connected with an operator, type the ten-digit number you are trying to reach. The operator will dial the number and relay the conversation between you and the party you are trying to reach.
