Yesica was born in Michoacán, Mexico and raised in Washington State. She is on the board of the Community Chest Food Bank and is a member of the Yakima County Homeless Network and the Community Safety Network of Toppenish. She loves to cook and spends as much time as she can camping, biking, and gardening during the summer.

Yesica is continuing her life-long passion for community-based health care with CHPW.


Yesica has 10 years of experience working in community-based health care and health communication, as well as two years in Medicare. She is licensed for Medicare in Washington State. Yesica has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, is a licensed foster parent, a licensed Pharmacy Assistant, and is CPR/First Aid certified.
