Brisa Guajardo is a manager of business development with extensive experience in health insurance. She and her team work closely with Community Health Centers (CHCs) and providers across the state. Brisa is fluent in English and Spanish.
Brisa was born in Mexico and raised in Washington State. Education and health care have always been topics of interest to her, and she has traveled to Colima and Tepic, Mexico, with Rotary to promote literacy in rural areas.
Despite her busy schedule, she still finds time to get involved in her community and services on boards such as Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Grace Clinic, Visit Tri-Cities, Washington Health Benefit Exchange Role of Agent and Broker Technical Advisory Committee, and volunteers on other community groups.
Expertise
Brisa joined the plan in 2006 and has extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and related health plans. She has experience working with the Hispanic/Latinx community in the Tri-Cities and other underrepresented groups. She obtained her Spanish Medical Interpreting certification from Columbia Basin College.
