We've Improved Our Name! - Community Health Plan of Washington - Medicare Advantage

We’ve Improved Our Name!

Community HealthFirst Medicare Advantage is now Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) Medicare Advantage. We changed our name to make it more clear that your Medicare plan is offered by CHPW.

Our name change is the first of several changes coming in the new year, all designed to give you better coverage and access to quality care.

When you choose a Medicare plan with CHPW, you know exactly what you’ll be getting: quality care close to home from a community that supports your whole health needs.

What does the name change mean for you?

Our name change does not affect you or your current plan’s coverage. You can continue going to your neighborhood Community Health Center and seeing your trusted doctor for care. You may continue to use your Community HealthFirst ID cards until the end of the year. Starting January 1, 2020 we will send you a new ID card.

If your health needs have changed within the last year, we recommend you schedule a call with one of our licensed Medicare experts. They can help make sure you’re getting the right level of coverage. Now is a good time to start thinking about your current plan and if your health needs are still being met.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Customer Service at 1-800-942-0247 (TTY Relay: Dial 7-1-1). They are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven day a week.
