Meet Blanche Barajas

Get to know Blanche

Blanche is an outreach specialist in Eastern Washington, serving Benton, Franklin, Grant, and Walla Walla counties. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Blanche has lived in Washington since 2005 and is the proud mother of two teenage boys. She was the first Latina elected to the Pasco City Council and is currently serving a four-year term. She also serves on the board of several social justice groups, and spends her free time volunteering for local non-profit agencies.

Blanche enjoys her work with CHPW because it helps her demonstrate the values of education and civic duty to her sons.

Expertise

Blanche is licensed for Medicare in Washington State. She has a BA in Business Administration and an AAS in Criminal Justice. Blanche received the 2018 Public Servant of the Year award from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Pasco.
